Product Description

The VLPT-21UUC is a 2x1 dual USB-C huddle room switcher for meeting spaces where every source is a laptop. Two full-featured USB-C inputs sit on the front, each carrying 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 video over DisplayPort Alt Mode along with USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) data, 1G Ethernet, and up to 50W of charging (100W total across both ports). Video is switched to a single HDMI output at up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 (18Gbps, HDMI 2.0b), preserving HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG.

It is a pure single-cable design: two presenters each dock with one USB-C cable for picture, shared USB devices, network, and power, with no dongles or separate supply. (The sibling VLPT-21HUC swaps one USB-C input for HDMI where a legacy source is still needed.) When a laptop disconnects, the switcher falls back to the other input automatically using signal and 5V detection, or an operator switches manually from the front panel.

Beyond switching, the VLPT-21UUC works as a room hub. Its USB 3.2 Gen 1 KVM shares a USB-C and two USB-A device ports (5V/1.5A) with the active source, so a room camera and speakerphone follow the presenter between the two laptops. Balanced or unbalanced analog audio can be embedded into the USB stream or de-embedded from the USB or HDMI stream. Dual 1G Ethernet with 802.1x and VLAN, an IR eye, GPIO, RS-232, and CEC display control integrate the unit into a control system, managed from the front panel, RS-232, TCP/IP, or a built-in Web GUI.
