Product Description

The VLPT-21HUC is a 2x1 HDMI and USB-C huddle room switcher for small meeting spaces: a fixed in-room source and a guest laptop, switched to one display, with the camera, microphone, and peripherals shared between them. Both inputs sit on the front of the unit, so a presenter connects at the table without reaching behind a rack. Video is switched to a single HDMI output at up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 (18Gbps, HDMI 2.0b), preserving HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG.

The USB-C input anchors the design. Over DP Alt Mode it carries 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 video, USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) data, 1G Ethernet, and up to 100W of charging on one cable, so a presenter plugs in once for picture, peripherals, network, and power. When the laptop disconnects, the switcher falls back to the HDMI source automatically using signal and 5V detection, or an operator switches manually from the front panel.

Beyond switching, the VLPT-21HUC works as a room hub. Its USB 3.2 KVM shares a USB-C and two USB-A device ports with the active source, so a room camera and speakerphone follow the presenter between the in-room PC and a BYOM laptop. Balanced or unbalanced analog audio can be embedded into or de-embedded from the HDMI or USB stream. Dual 1G Ethernet with 802.1x and VLAN, an IR eye, GPIO, RS-232, and CEC display control integrate the unit into a control system, and it is managed from the front panel, RS-232, TCP/IP, or a built-in Web GUI.

BYOD / BYOM Conference Rooms
