What is the HDBaseT transmission distance and what cable is required?
Over a single shielded Cat6A (F/FTP) cable, VigilLink's HDBaseT switchers extend uncompressed 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 up to 40m and 4K@30Hz or 1080p up to 70m; 100m-rated models reach that distance at 4K@30Hz/1080p. Use shielded Cat6A with 568B termination and a direct (non-crossover) run for the rated distance. The HDBaseT link also carries PoE to power the included receiver, plus USB and RS-232/IR control on the same cable.
Can I use the VLPT-42MCSDH without a Dante® audio network?
