The VLML-8x8AM is an 18Gbps 8x8 seamless HDMI matrix switcher with integrated multiview, distributing eight HDMI sources to eight HDTV displays at resolutions up to 4K60 4:4:4. Seamless switching moves between sources without frame loss, so transitions stay smooth on every output.
In multiview mode, twelve layout categories place up to four sources on a single display, with per-window input selection, display mode, and aspect control, and audio assignable to the active window. User-defined modes let each window be dragged and zoomed freely, and layouts save as presets for fast recall between scenarios.
The same eight outputs also drive tiled video walls, where screens combine into a single spanned image with independent horizontal and vertical bezel adjustment for a continuous picture across panel gaps.
Each output supports independent resolution downscaling plus horizontal and vertical mirroring. Eight optical S/PDIF and eight balanced L/R phoenix outputs deliver de-embedded audio for zoned sound systems. HDCP 2.2 compliance, advanced EDID management, and power-off memory keep installations stable, and control is available from the front panel, IR remote, RS-232, or the built-in web server. The 1U metal enclosure rack-mounts in standard AV racks.

Multi-View Mode
The VLML-8x8AM displays multiple sources on a single screen through twelve layout categories: single, picture-in-picture, dual, three triple variants, three quad variants, and three user-defined modes. Each output can show up to four sources at once, with per-window input selection, display mode, and aspect control. Audio can be set to follow any chosen window.
User-defined modes allow each window to be dragged and zoomed freely, and layouts can be saved as presets, up to eight in total, for fast recall between scenarios.
Video Wall Mode
The VLML-8x8AM also combines its outputs into a single spanned image across a custom display grid. Set any rows-by-columns arrangement, each dimension from 1 to 8, to build layouts from a 1x2 strip to a 2x4 grid across up to eight displays. Drag to select adjacent screens and the matrix groups them into one wall automatically, assigning a source to span the full surface.
Every window renders at a native 16:9 aspect ratio, and per-screen horizontal and vertical bezel adjustment closes the visible seams between panels so content flows across the wall without offset. Each spliced region can take its own input source and output resolution, and output synchronization keeps all panels in step for tear-free motion. Save frequently used walls as named presets, up to 32 characters each, to recall a complete configuration in one click.
